Success stories / Media · Daily Brief
Give every audience a more relevant way into the news.
Grishen developed Daily Brief for El País using AgentPlat as the foundation for its solution design. The result is a new way into the publisher’s journalism: concise summaries shaped around audience segments, with paths back to the original reporting.
Build with AgentPlatThe opportunity
Help readers find their way through a busy news day.
A continuous stream of reporting creates choice for readers. Making that coverage easier to navigate means deciding what is relevant to different audiences, bringing the key stories together and giving readers a clear route into the full articles.
How Grishen built on AgentPlat’s design
A foundation for designing the whole AI workflow.
AgentPlat provided the starting point for Grishen’s design of Daily Brief. Grishen translated that foundation into a dedicated workflow for El País: ingest the reporting, select relevant articles for each audience, generate briefs and make them available to the publisher’s digital channels. AgentPlat’s contribution was at the design level; Grishen developed the application and its AI integration.
Design for relevance from the start
Grishen’s solution separates article selection from brief generation. Articles are scored and ranked against configured audience segments, giving each summary a defined set of reporting to draw from.
Connect the AI output to the reader’s next step
Daily Brief produces compact and expanded text and retains linked article identifiers. The generation instructions call for links to the original reporting, so the experience can lead readers from a summary into the full stories.
Make daily operation part of the design
Grishen connected scheduled processing, backoffice regeneration and execution history into the workflow. The team can refresh briefs and investigate runs as part of operating the product.
The product value
A design foundation that becomes a product of your own.
For Grishen, AgentPlat served as a base for designing a solution around El País’s content, audiences and editorial workflow. Daily Brief shows how that starting point can become a tailored product: a connected journey from published reporting to audience-specific summaries, developed and integrated by the delivery team.
